A shade of blue that is pleasing to the eye and soothing to the soul. This pure Eri silk mekhela sador is a treasure that will make for a great addition to your collection.⁣ A truly serene drape, it is adorned with minimal Bodo tribal motifs in Muga Ghisa and white Eri meenakari.

Mekhela Sador is the traditional Assamese drape worn by women in Assam. It is a two-piece set consisting of a lower garment called the Mekhela, folded into pleats and is worn waist down over a petticoat. The upper garment called the Sador is pleated or let loose at the end like a saree pallu.

• Avoid exposure to moisture as zari tends to react to weather changes.
• Air your Assam silk drape from time to time and re-fold to avoid creasing at the same place for an extended period of time.
