Sophisticated and refreshing, this pure Paat silk saree in white evokes feelings of goodness and purity. Nestling intricately crafted floral and geometric motifs in Muga Ghisa and indigo, the phool buti throughout the body lends a lustrous look. The border is a result of detailed, nuanced craftsmanship painstakingly woven using the slow maku mara technique where each design element is made individually. A fabulous complement to your special moments.

Ghisa silk, produced in the eastern states of India, is a by-product of Vanya (wild) silks like Tussar and Muga. Ghisa silk is short and has a coarse texture since the yarns are obtained by piercing the cocoons.

Made from: 100% pure Paat (mulberry) silk

Length: 5.5m (approx.), Width: 46" (approx.)

Blouse: 1m (approx.) in white

Making time: Approximately 200 labour hrs. (22-25 days)

Note: The blouse seen on the model is only for representation. Saree comes paired with an unstitched blouse piece.

All TSC products are meticulously handcrafted from scratch, using the finest materials, one piece at a time. Our products involve crafts-based traditions of hand spinning, dyeing and weaving. Due to this process, there may be a variation from one item to the next. Such variations are inherent in the manufacturing of handmade products, so you may expect minor distinctions that will make your purchase special and truly one of a kind.
