The definition of understated elegance, this tea-dyed Kesa Paat saree has left us spellbound! It's an endearing handwoven classic in the daintiest of colours - three shades of tea-dyed Eri silk stripes on the body, creating an ombre effect.

Diaphanous pallu is enhanced by traditional Mishing motifs in extra weft called Ghure Moi Mang which literally translates to horse figures

Made from: 100% pure Kesa Paat (raw mulberry) silk

Length: 5.5m (approx.), Width: 46" (approx.)

Blouse Length: 1m (approx.)

Number of man-hours to weave the saree: Approximately 56 hrs. (5-7 days)

Note: The blouse seen on the model is only for representation. Saree is paired with an unstitched blouse piece.

All TSC products are handcrafted from scratch, using the finest materials. The subtle variations in colour, texture and finish are intrinsic to hand made products. Our products involve crafts-based traditions of hand spinning, dyeing and weaving.

Care Instructions:

  • Dry clean only.

  • Store your Assam silk saree in the breathable cotton dustbag we provide with your purchase.

  • Avoid exposure to moisture as zari tends to react to weather changes.

  • Air your Assam silk saree from time to time and re-fold to avoid creasing at the same place for an extended period of time.

We use both natural/plant-based and azo-free commercial dyes with the goal of minimising our impact on the environment while striving for the best colour properties. An irregular weave is not a defect - handloom by definition means uncertainty when it comes to uniformity.

Disclaimer: Product colour may slightly vary due to photographic lighting sources or your monitor setting.
