Shipping policy
We ship domestically and to a select number of international destinations from our Guwahati and Singapore warehouses depending on the location of the products. Items are shipped out as soon as possible, but this will not be the same day as your order regardless of the shipping option selected at checkout.
In general, please add 3-4 business days to allow for processing time. If we anticipate a longer lead time, e.g. pre-ordered products, it will be mentioned in the item description.
Shortly after you place your order, you’ll receive an e-mail confirming your order and invoice to let you know that it is being processed. If you don’t receive the e-mail, please check your spam folder and see if you can locate it. This is especially important because, if you haven’t received the order confirmation e-mail, you also won’t receive the e-mail with your shipment notification and tracking information.
Once your order ships, you’ll receive an e-mail containing your order details, courier and tracking information. If ordering as a gift, you may wish to provide your own email address and not the address of the recipient.
International Shipping
Once you feed in your complete shipping address at check out, you will be able to see an auto-generated shipping fee. Shipping charges and available services will vary based on package weight and country of destination. International shipments may take 3-4 weeks for delivery.
Free Domestic Shipping
Deliveries within India qualify for free shipping on all orders above a minimum spend. Orders may take anywhere between 5-7 working days to be delivered depending on the destination. Express shipping is available upon request, additional charges apply.
You can find your delivery estimate on your Shipping Confirmation e-mail. Please allow 24-48 hours for the tracking information to become available. All delivery estimates are business days unless otherwise stated. Please note that any delays caused in delivery due to logistical issues are not in our control and we are not responsible for the same.

Please take note that delivery lead times within Singapore are just an estimate and they do not include internal order processing time of 1-2 working days.
Our studio is closed on weekends and Public Holidays. We ask you to kindly plan your order with this in mind, as they will not be shipped out during these days. All of our orders are processed manually, and if you want to expedite the shipment, kindly contact our customer care. We will be ready to help you according to your needs.
Failed Deliveries & Returned Packages
In the case where our courier partner is unable to deliver a package due to an incorrect address, the customer’s refusal to pay duties, three failed attempts in a row to reach the customer at point of delivery, or otherwise, the shipment will be returned to TSC HQ. We are not liable for payment of return shipping costs levied by the courier (which includes any unpaid customs or taxes). In addition to this, TSC is not responsible for any fees incurred upon re-shipping merchandise to the customer. In cases such as these, the customer is responsible for all shipping costs associated with returned packages due to failed delivery.
Pre-order Shipping
Pre-order items will ship as soon as they become in-stock. When you see a product listed for pre-order, we also state an expected in-stock date. Shipping dates will vary per product. Upon shipment, you'll receive a shipping confirmation e-mail including shipment tracking information.
Orders containing both pre-ordered and in-stock merchandise will be shipped separately in an effort to deliver your orders as quickly as possible. You will not be charged for multiple shipments. Multiple shipping confirmation e-mails will be sent for purchase with in-stock and pre-ordered items.
In-store Pickup
You can skip the shipping fees with free local pickup at both our Singapore and Guwahati studios. After placing your order and selecting local pickup at checkout, your order will be prepared and ready for pick up within 1 to 2 business days. We will send you an email when your order is ready along with instructions.
Our in-store pickup hours are 12pm-6pm, Monday-Friday. Please ensure that we have acknowledged your pickup appointment before making your way down so as to ensure that your order is ready for collection.
Customs and Duties
Most countries are shipped to on a DDU (Delivery Duty Unpaid) basis, which means product prices displayed on our website are exclusive of all custom, import duties & clearance fees. If the shipment is within Singapore, all prices are shown inclusive of import duties & taxes. All other countries are shown a price excluding duties & taxes.
All applicable customs fees, taxes and duties are the sole responsibility of the customer. Customs authorities require that we state the value of your order directly on your package – the value is the retail cost. TSC cannot mark any package(s) as a Gift in order to avoid customs and duties fees. Please note, we are unable to advise the duty amount.
For UK and EU orders – Customs and VAT will be charged as per the laws within your country. These customs and VAT will have to be borne by you. If you are unable to pay these at the time of accepting your package, please note that the order will not be cancelled or refunded.
For information on customs and duties charges, please contact your local customs office. Please note that on rare occasions, customs agents may delay the delivery of some packages at their discretion.
Insurance
TSC insures each purchase during the time it is in transit until it is delivered to you. We require a signature for any goods delivered, at which point responsibility for your purchased goods passes to you. If you have specified a recipient who is not you for delivery purposes, then you accept that evidence of a signature by them (or at that delivery address) is evidence of delivery and fulfillments by TSC and transfer of responsibility in the same way.
Exchange Rates
All prices shown on The Silk Chamber are in INR, however, you can choose your preferred currency from the header dropdown menu. Exchange rates change daily, and we are not responsible for any loss incurred as a result of currency fluctuation. Please note that your credit card processor may charge you a conversion rate fee.
