Woven from the rare golden silk of Assam, this Muga silk saree is a celebration of legacy, patience, and enduring beauty. Known for its natural golden sheen that deepens with time, Muga silk is one of the world’s most precious silks - produced only in Assam and cherished for generations.

Handwoven by master weavers and embellished with a mix of floral and geometrical motifs in energetic orange and deep magenta, each motif is shaped slowly on the loom, reflecting centuries-old techniques passed down through families of weavers. The minimal ghisa border is remarkably durable yet refined, making it a saree that becomes more beautiful with every wear. Perfect for weddings, milestones, and moments that deserve permanence.

This is a handwoven piece, unevenness in the selvedge and weave could be expected.

  • Store your Assam silk drape in breathable cotton dust bag we provide with your purchase.
  • Avoid exposure to moisture as zari tends to react to weather changes.
  • Air your Assam silk drape from time to time and re-fold to avoid creasing at the same place for an extended period of time.
