Historically donned by the royal families of Assam, this Muga silk saree is the perfect piece for a rich, regal and distinctively traditional look. Small booti woven all over the body are set off by the Bihu dance motifs in vivid red and black, painstakingly woven over weeks. A must-have for a true saree lover!

This is a handwoven piece, unevenness in the selvedge and weave could be expected.

Due to this process, there may be a variation from one item to the next. Care Instructions: 

  • Dry clean only.
  • Store your Assam silk drape in breathable cotton dust bag we provide with your purchase.
  • Avoid exposure to moisture as zari tends to react to weather changes.
  • Air your Assam silk drape from time to time and re-fold to avoid creasing at the same place for an extended period of time.
