A symphony of tradition and craftsmanship, this lustrous Paat silk mekhela sador in onyx has an elaborate border painstakingly woven over weeks and is bejewelled with tribal geometric motifs in pure Muga silk. A perfect drape for those special occasions where you want to stand out and embrace the magic of the night.
Mekhela Sador is the traditional Assamese drape worn by women in Assam. It is a two-piece set consisting of a lower garment called the Mekhela, folded into pleats and is worn waist down over a petticoat. The upper garment called the Sador is pleated or let loose at the end like a saree pallu.
