Muga silk weaves captivate sublime elegance and sophistication and this gorgeous saree is no exception. Woven by master weavers, this silken drape has a beautiful interplay of gold and silver zari Miri tribal motifs and an intricate pallu that is in exquisite harmony to the body of the drape.
Muga silk, indigenous to Assam, is recognised by its characteristic golden sheen and richness. It is one of the most rarest silks, owing to the fact that it is produced nowhere else but in Assam. It is also one of the most expensive silks in the world. Being expensive, however, has no bearing on its popularity as Muga remains one of the most desired silks across the globe.
This is a handwoven piece, unevenness in the selvedge and weave could be expected.

Care Instructions:
-
Dry clean only.
-
Avoid spraying perfume directly on the garment.
-
Store garment in a dry environment as zari tends to react to weather changes.
- Air the textile every few months.
We use both natural/plant-based and azo-free commercial dyes with the goal of minimising our impact on the environment while striving for the best colour properties. An irregular weave is not a defect - handloom by definition means uncertainty when it comes to uniformity.
